CeramicMarc was not just a design refresh. It was a full digital repositioning of a handmade ceramics brand that needed to move from a simple online presentation into a cleaner, more premium and more commercially usable e-commerce experience.
The business already had strong products and artistic identity, but the old website did not fully support online sales, brand perception or the type of trust an international customer expects before buying handmade pieces online. The new version had to preserve the craft, but package it in a more modern and more sellable digital format.
The result is a stronger digital storefront that makes the brand feel more credible, more premium and much better prepared for online sales.
The project started from an older site structure that worked as a basic introduction, but it did not have the same sales strength, polish or e-commerce clarity as the new direction. The earlier version leaned more toward portfolio presentation and simple navigation than toward a premium shopping experience.
The first step was not adding more visual noise. It was clarifying the brand direction. The new site was built around a cleaner and more premium identity, with stronger product focus, better typography, softer composition and a more intentional browsing experience.
For handmade products, a shop page cannot feel generic. It has to support discovery, category browsing and the emotional side of buying crafted pieces. CeramicMarc was therefore structured to make the browsing experience feel editorial, visual and commercial at the same time.
Handmade products need more than a title and a price. Buyers want to understand what makes a piece special, how it looks in detail and whether the store feels trustworthy enough to purchase from. That is why the product pages were treated as a key selling layer, not a technical formality.
One of the smart parts of the new site is that it does not only sell products. It also explains the making process behind them. That helps elevate perceived value and turns the website into a stronger brand experience.
A premium handmade store loses value fast if the checkout feels weak. For CeramicMarc, the purchase flow had to stay visually clean while making the path to order feel straightforward and low-friction.
This was not only a visual redesign. The project also included a structured handover that made the new store easier to manage after launch, from products and bilingual content to everyday shop administration.
CeramicMarc now looks and behaves like a serious handmade e-commerce brand instead of a simpler presentation site with limited commercial depth. The transformation is visible in both the aesthetics and the operational delivery behind the project.
CeramicMarc is a valuable WEBOG case study because it shows how a traditional craft business can be translated into a more premium, more scalable and more commercially ready digital brand. It proves that WEBOG does not only make sites look better. It helps businesses move from static presence to structured online selling, while preserving the uniqueness that made the brand worth noticing in the first place.
